Bake me Crazy

I love a good sugar rush.

As I've mentioned in previous posts, my sister Melissa Marie is a young baker/decorator extraordinaire. Anyone who's tried her creations always compliments on the design and the taste. She usually makes everything from scratch and her talent is unparalleled for someone without training.

So I urged her to start her own blog and she's finally taken my advice. As a soon to be PR practitioner, I feel it is necessary to throw my favourite girl some positive PR. Not A Model readers, check out Bakemecrazy.blogspot.com and add it to your readers. She's new to the blogging world so let's give her some confidence. 

Mel has been baking up a storm for Valentine's Day. Her boyfriend is quite the lucky guy. I, on the other hand, have never baked for a guy. Okay, that's a lie. I once baked oatmeal chocolate chip cookies, but they were the foolproof "add water and eggs" kind. Nonetheless, I've been taste testing her handmade Valentine's treats and they rival the best chocolate shop creations.

While we're on the topic of Valentine's Day, I've mentioned in many other posts that I don't think "one day a year" holidays are the only time to show the people in your life that you care. Send me flowers on Valentine's Day and I'll be grateful. Send me flowers on a random Wednesday when I come home cranky, tired and achy and I'll swoon.
